As the year draws to a close, we at Hymid want to take a moment to reflect on 2024—an eventful year filled with troubling times on the world’s stage but also growth, innovation, and meaningful collaborations and encounters.

To put our year into context... In 2024 we’ve already shipped 4,880,964 parts and we'll be closing in on the 5 million mark in the last couple of weeks!

Engaging the Next Generation...

As proud participants in MAKE UK’s National Manufacturing Day, we hosted over 45 GCSE students from three local schools for a day of manufacturing-themed games and activities.

The enthusiasm was contagious, and we look forward to presenting the winning team’s trophy in January. Stay tuned for a recap video in the New Year!

Successful ISO Audits...

This year, we underwent a thorough surveillance audit by the external quality and standards organization, SGS Global. We are pleased to announce that, following their comprehensive evaluation, our ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications have been successfully maintained.

These achievements reflect our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards, supported by the expertise and dedication of our exceptional quality team. Their meticulous attention to detail ensures that every aspect of our operations meets or exceeds industry requirements.

We also warmly welcome customers, prospects, and potential clients to conduct their own audits. This open-door approach allows us to provide complete transparency and peace of mind, demonstrating firsthand the rigorous measures we take to deliver superior quality and reliability.

Expanding Horizons...

2024 saw new collaborations, including project tooling wins with a number of our valued customers, alongside growing opportunities in component production for international markets like Romania, Serbia, and the USA. These successes strengthen our mission to deliver bespoke moulding solutions for our customers.

We also have something we are very excited about bubbling away in the background 🤫. We can’t talk about it just yet – rest assured, as soon as it’s ready you’ll be the first to know!

Spreading Festive Cheer

While the Hymid team enjoys a well-deserved break during the Christmas shutdown (24th December – 2nd January), we’re already preparing for an exciting 2025. From launching something very special to unveiling new projects and working with customers old and new, there’s much to look forward to.

Finally, a quick note to say we couldn’t have achieved anything this year without the trust and support of our amazing customers and suppliers. As we reflect on 2024, we remain dedicated to helping you overcome your moulding challenges and achieve success in the year ahead.
